Manage your organization’s name, slug, and other general settings.
General Settings
Navigate to Settings > General to configure:
- Organization name — The display name shown across the dashboard, in emails, and in team member views. Change it anytime.
- Slug — The URL-friendly identifier for your organization (e.g.,
cloud.takumo.io/org/your-slug). Changing this updates all URLs, so update any bookmarks or integrations that reference the old slug.
- Timezone — Affects how timestamps display in the dashboard. Audit log entries, “last seen” times, and billing cycle dates all use this timezone.
Notifications
Configure how you receive alerts:
- Email notifications — Get notified about security events, member changes, and billing alerts via email.
- In-app notifications — See alerts directly in the dashboard notification center.
You can configure notification preferences per category. For example, get email alerts for security events but only in-app notifications for billing updates.
Danger Zone
These actions are destructive and difficult or impossible to reverse.
Transfer Ownership
Move the Owner role to another member of your organization. When you transfer ownership:
- The target member becomes the new Owner (level 100)
- You are demoted to Admin (level 80)
- This is immediate and does not require confirmation from the new Owner
Only the current Owner can initiate a transfer. You must select an existing member of the organization.
Go to Settings > General
Scroll to the Danger Zone section at the bottom of the page.
Click Transfer Ownership
Select the member you want to transfer ownership to.
Confirm the transfer
Confirm that you understand you will be demoted to Admin.
Delete Organization
Permanently deletes the organization and everything associated with it:
- All API keys are revoked instantly
- All member associations are removed
- All scan data, policies, and audit logs are deleted
- All gateway instances are disconnected
- Billing is cancelled
Deleting an organization is permanent and irreversible. All API keys stop working immediately. All data is deleted.
This action requires the Owner role. You must type the organization name to confirm deletion. There is no grace period and no recovery option.
